Mr. M. Chinnaswamy is an industrialist with more than 60 years of experience in Farming & Fine Cotton Ginning based out of Pollachi, Tamilnadu.
He is Vice President of The World Community Service Centre (WCSC), a Non-Religious and Non-Profitable Organization founded by Swami Vethathiri Maharishi in 1958.
He is the Managing Trustee of The Mariappa Foundation, established in the year
2000. The trust has been involved in providing quality School Education for the past 23 years.
Mrs. Manorama Chinnaswamy
Founder
Mrs. Manorama Chinnaswamy has over 30 years of experience in the field of Education. She established Nachiar Vidyalayam in the year 2000 and it has blossomed into a premier learning institute in Pollachi today.
She believes that when the four pillars of a school; enthusiastic learners, responsible parents, good teaching faculty, and caring management, work together, we can scale great heights.
She is a writer; poet & singer par excellence & has published several books and articles on her Guru, Women Empowerment & Education.
Mr. Mani Chinnaswamy B.Sc., M.B.A
Correspondent
Mr. Mani Chinnaswamy is the Managing Director of Appachi Ecologic Cotton Pvt. Limited. He is a third generation Cotton Ginner and has pioneered India’s first Cotton Contract Farming Model. He is the recipient of The Special Achievement Award by the Textile Ministry, Government of India, for his pioneering work in the field.
He has been a leader in the field of Sustainable Textiles in India and co-founded
‘Ethicus’ – India’s first Farm to Fashion Brand.
His vision for learning beyond the classrooms has led him to establish the Nachiar Academy for Performing Arts, The Nachiar School Government and the School Currency system in Nachiar – The World School way back in 2004.
He is the President of the Nachiar Government and a Trustee in The Mariappa Foundation. He is responsible for entrepreneurship development, career guidance; industry connect and infrastructure development at the school.
Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Nachiar, M.Sc., B.Ed
Principal
Mrs. Vijayalakshmi Nachiar has a Degree in Education and has been working in the field of Education for the past 23 years.
She manages the overall academic program including curriculum development, teacher selection, resource allocation & is also the Principal & Correspondent of the school.
Mr.Gurumoorthy Ponnuswamy
Advisor
Mr.Ponnuswamy Gurumoorthy, is a Mathematician & Educationist. He has over 60 years of experience as a senior teacher, guide, examiner & counsellor & has worked at Sainik School, Amravatinagar, Tamilnadu.
He is interested in various Sports & other activities especially Swimming, NCC &
Trekking. He has conducted & attended many workshops in the field of Education.
He is a Senior Rotarian, is a Paul Hariz Fellow & has travelled widely in India & abroad.
He serves as a resource person & advisor at many educational institutions & has been an advisor at our school for the last 15 years.
