CBSE Program
The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education)School syllabus is designed to provide
a comprehensive education that develops students’ academic, social, and emotional skills.
The syllabus covers a range of subjects, including English, mathematics, science, social
science, and languages.
As per the NEP 2020, CBSE aims to promote a holistic and multidisciplinary education. This
includes the integration of subjects such as art, music, and physical education with
academic subjects. The focus is on developing essential skills such as critical thinking,
creativity, communication, and collaboration. Additionally, CBSE is working to create a
flexible and inclusive education system that caters to the diverse needs and interests of
students.
Pre KG to Grade II
- The focus is on learning & speaking communicative English fluently.
- Learning of Science, Mathematics & Computers practically.
- Audi Visual learning with the help of interactive smart panels along with the
traditional teaching by a subject expert.
- Compulsory Library time to encourage reading practice.
- Compulsory dance, music & art classes to enhance creativity and expression.
- Compulsory Yoga & Meditation classes for a holistic learning experience.
- Regular field trips.
- Monthly competitions to bring in a healthy competitive spirit & the need to improve and
excel in different fields.
Grades III to V
- The focus is more on learning through activities, experiments, project work & compulsory
Library class.
- Compulsory Yoga & Meditation classes for holistic learning.
- Choice of any 2 activities out of Vocal Music, Dance, Keyboard & Karate.
- Field trips & after school activities like Nature club, Cycling.
- Participation in the school election & a chance to be part of the Nachiar Government
from grade 4 onwards.
- Introduction from Grade IV, to the world of “Banking” through the use and circulation of
the school currency – “Neos” & a chance to earn a scholarship for being the highest
currency grosser.
- Compulsory Chess for Grade V to improve higher-order thinking skills—like problem
solving, decision making, critical thinking & planning.
- Regular monthly competitions.
Grade VI to VIII
- A challenging curriculum with more abstract concepts.
- The introduction of educational software with preloaded offline content on individual
Tabs for learning at convenience, better revision & more practice.
- Introduction to Entrepreneurship & better utilisation of school currency & banking
system.
- Leadership development by participation in the school election system.
- Compulsory Art, Library & Meditation classes.
- Compulsory Gardening at Grade VI, Drama at Grade VII & Basic Life Skills at Grade VIII
level.
- Choice of any 1 activity among Vocal music, Dance, Keyboard, Yoga, Karate and being a
member of the School Band.
- Educational excursion.
Grade IX
- CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) offers a range of higher education options for students in various fields such as science, engineering, arts, and commerce.
- The aim is to transform higher education by promoting a multidisciplinary approach that encourages students to explore a range of subjects and disciplines.
